Privacy Policy

Effective 7 August 2026

1. What we collect

Account data (name, email, optional country/state), your topic picks and notification preferences, saved postings, and subscription state. Playback analytics record that an episode was played or finished, tied to your account when signed in and anonymous otherwise. Push notifications store a per-browser subscription endpoint. Payments are processed by our payment provider; we store amounts and references, never card numbers.

2. How AI is involved

Briefing scripts are written by a large language model from publicly published sources, and voiced by a speech-synthesis provider. Your personal data is not used to train models and is not included in generation prompts; only public source material and our own editorial instructions are.

3. Advertising data

Ads on the free tier are served by us, not by third-party trackers. We count impressions and clicks per campaign in aggregate; advertisers see totals, never individuals. Paid plans remove banner and in-stream advertising entirely.

4. What we use data for

Delivering your briefings, sending the notifications you asked for, billing, keeping the service safe, and improving programming through aggregate listening statistics. We do not sell personal data.

5. Sharing

Data goes only to the processors that run the service (hosting, email delivery, payments, speech and text generation), each bound to process it solely for us, and to authorities where the law demands it.

6. Retention and your rights

Account data lives while the account does; deleting your account from Settings removes it. You can access, correct, export, or erase your data, and object to processing, by using the contact form. Aggregate statistics that no longer identify you may be kept.

7. Changes

Material changes to this policy are announced by email or in the app before they take effect.
